testament to his unwavering commitment to success. In a class of over 350
students, Olayinka soared to the top, finishing among the top five—a remarkable
achievement that sets him apart as one of Nigeria's brightest legal minds. His
insatiable curiosity and passion for Corporate/Commercial Law, with a focus on
Tax, Energy, and Corporate Finance, have driven him to pursue nothing short of
mastery in these fields.
Olayinka’s résumé reads like a catalog of
triumphs. He has interned at Nigeria's most prestigious tier-one law firms—Banwo

formative experiences have solidified his place as a rising star in Nigeria’s
legal landscape, demonstrating his readiness to tackle the complexities of law
at the highest levels.
Not content with excelling
in internships alone, Olayinka is also an award-winning essayist and prolific
writer. His intellectual contributions to platforms like SSRN, Borg.
Research, and ResearchGate speak to his depth of knowledge and analytical
skill. In 2021, Olayinka’s brilliance shone through when he clinched the top

Olayinka’s accomplishments
extend beyond writing and legal research; he is a natural leader and skilled
orator who has repeatedly excelled on national and international platforms. In
2023, he led his team to victory at the 13th International

testament to his exceptional leadership and advocacy skills. Additionally, at
the 32nd Chrisof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition in
Kumasi, Ghana, Olayinka showcased his formidable legal acumen, securing an
impressive rating of 72.3%, further cementing his status as a legal
prodigy.
His speaking accolades
don't stop there. In 2022, he was part of the team that emerged as 1st
runner-up in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Nigeria Ethics
Challenge, a competition that tests the sharpest minds in finance and
ethics. He has also left an indelible mark on other prestigious platforms,
including the Law x Technology Subproject Competition, The Tax Club Unilorin
Think Tank Contest, and the National Tax Debate 7.0. Olayinka’s brilliance,
eloquence, and ability to think on his feet have made him a household name in
the legal community, inspiring admiration from peers and mentors alike.
As a master of ceremonies
and event host, Olayinka’s influence reaches beyond the classroom and
competition hall. He has proudly anchored three consecutive editions of Tax180,
the largest student-organized tax conference in Nigeria. His ability to command
attention, articulate ideas, and foster engagement has made him a sought-after
MC, reflecting his versatility and leadership. His dedication to mentorship and
service shines through his work helping students and professionals perfect
their CVs and cover letters, further underscoring his commitment to empowering
others.
Olayinka’s leadership
within The Tax Club OAU is equally impressive. As Director of Research I
and Public Relations Officer, he left a lasting legacy, driving
initiatives that elevated the club’s influence and impact. His leadership style
is defined by a rare combination of empathy, strategic thinking, and an
unrelenting drive for excellence.
In addition to his academic
and professional pursuits, Olayinka is deeply committed to personal growth,
constantly seeking ways to refine his skills and knowledge. His humility,
despite his staggering achievements, is one of his most admirable qualities.
Whether he’s hanging out with friends, listening to music, or indulging in his
favorite sitcoms, Olayinka remains grounded and authentic—a true reflection of
a well-rounded and balanced individual.
For his outstanding
