Successful Sensitisation Program on Bullying and Human Rights
Yesterday, May 29th, 2024, the African Law Students Association - Nigerian Chapter, in collaboration with the West African Law Students' Association Nigeria Directorate, proudly hosted a highly successful Sensitisation Program on Bullying and Human Rights at Junior Secondary School GarKi. The event proved to be a remarkable achievement, drawing attention to important issues affecting students and promoting a safer, more inclusive educational environment.
The Sensitisation Program covered various topics pertaining to bullying and human rights, emphasizing the importance of respect, empathy, and understanding within the school community. Through engaging discussions and informative presentations, participants gained valuable insights into identifying, preventing, and addressing instances of bullying, as well as understanding their rights and responsibilities in creating a supportive learning environment.
The ALSA-NG leadership would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in making this event a resounding success. The collaborative efforts of the organizers, speakers, and participants have undoubtedly contributed to a greater awareness of bullying and human rights issues among students, fostering a more compassionate and inclusive school community.
